March 1st through 31st is Women's History Month. This month is a time where we celebrate, encourage the study of, and promote the observance of the vital role of women in American History. Sociology professor conducts research for change

Chair of Sociology, Criminal Justice and Anthropology Xi Chen has been conducting research on demography to focus on social inequality and use advanced methods and cutting-edge data to address social problems in various places around the globe and among diverse groups.

 

Students to collect e-waste for new sustainability initiative

A recent student-led project aims to step up Quinnipiac’s game in electronic waste collection, aiming for a long-term sustainability initiative.

Vanessa Avery, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, received the Quinnipiac Black Law Students Association's Thurgood Marshall Award on March 21.

Part-Time Evening JD Program

Whether you are looking to begin an exciting journey into the legal profession or simply to advance your current career, Quinnipiac Law’s part-time JD program can help you reimagine — and realize — professional possibilities in any number of fields, including corporate law, private practice, judicial or public interest law.  

The part-time JD offers the same high-quality ABA-approved curriculum as our full-time JD program taught by the same highly experienced full-time faculty, ensuring that you receive the same rigorous preparation and commitment to practical learning.

Through our merit scholarship program, we are able to support the professional aspirations and passions of well-qualified students who wish to be lawyers.  All admitted students are considered for our scholarships.  No additional application is required.  

Additionally, we encourage you to research non-institutional scholarships for which you may qualify.  One resource for these types of scholarships is the AccessLex Scholarship Databank.

Through carefully constructed course selections, your concentration curriculum at Quinnipiac Law builds expertise and credentials according to a plan developed by faculty based on their extensive knowledge of both the field and the marketplace for careers in that particular specialty.
